What happened to the GS Warframe clan for PS4? We used to have one. I think I am still in it, but it isn't listed here. Did the guys running that one move on?

A good all arounder is Inaros IMO. I don't know how easy he is to get from starting from the beginning though. If I had to pick on of the old school frames I would (and did) Pick Rhino to start.

Inaros is a good stay-alive frame. He can only be gotten through (buying him with platinum, or) his quest which you buy from Baro for 100 Ducats and 25,000 credits, which isn't super difficult for a low level. The argon and Nitain needed to craft him though might be difficult for an MR 1-3 to get though. If you can get him later on though, I agree he's a solid frameJ.
