BingoBuzz, a site that clearly hates it own staff, put forth a scientific method to determine which games are cursed with the most toxic voice-chat players. This is how:

How Did We Test This?
We watched a total of 100 Twitch and YouTube Gaming streams for the most popular games in August 2021 and newly released titles.
Watching each stream for 15 minutes, we took note of every expletive uttered to collect the required data for analysis.
Every expletive uttered by each streamer was recorded against the game they were playing, and we calculated the mean average based on all expletives used by all gamers.
In total, 25 hours’ worth of streams were watched for this study.

Good lord. I hope they got paid to do that. Anyway, the game that is currently generating the most profanity is Rainbow Six Siege. Does that surprise you, or does it sound about right in your online experiences?

the fact that League of Legends or Valorant isn't on this list means they didn't do enough research. Most toxic chat in any game i've played by far.

Modern Warfare 2 at its peak lol

Rogue company by far (for me) has the most toxic voice chat. I love that game but simply don't play it because of the toxicity emanating from team mates.

I am going to throw an odd ball mention to this topic. Blur, at least the PS3 sect of the game. I had downloaded the demo, which let you play some basic modes online, & gave it a go. I like the game itself, but I was never in a room that was just plain nasty & toxic. So much & so universally so, that I opted not to pick up the game. Fast forward years later, I did eventually get the game...but much after the online aspect of the game was dead.
