first game owned was a gift of a sega genesis(megadrive) with golden axe and streets of rage.
first game bought was fallout 1+2+tactics cdrom bundle, and they were for certain my first love

The 1st console I owned was an NES. My 1st purchase was river city ransom, and I was blown away. Tecmo Bowl came next, and had a more lasting affect, but you never forget your first.

In regards to other "first" purchases...
- N64 - Mario Kart 64
- PS2 - It came with one of those ATV games, but Final Fantasy X was the first one I picked up.
- PS3 - Uncharted 2. The reason I bought the system.
- Wii - Not counting the pack-in game, Wii Sports, the first game I bought for it was (I think) Dragon Quest Swords.
- Wii U - It came with Nintendoland, which wasn't as bad as people make it out to be, but the first game I purchased for the system was Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
- PS4 - Uncharted 4. What can I say, I loved the Naughty Dog games.
- Switch - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Talk about an amazing launch game.
