Hey guys, I was goofing around the PlayStation Store and noticed a few FREE games for my PS4.

Right now I am playing the heck out of PALADINS, CROSSOUT and FISHING PLANET. Yes the last one listed is a fishing game, I never thought I would EVER play one pf these games! But I enjoy it.

What are your favorite "Gems" from the "Free To Play" section of the PlayStation Store??

Paladins is a great game I used to play it non stop on PC. Currently Fortnite is a must have on any console in my opinion. Hours of fun, even more fun if you can play with a group of people.

I need to check out Paladins.
I was playing a little bit of Sparkle LOL. Which is Zuma with a different name.
Fortnite is solid though. Def gotta be my fav free game. I'm almost always playing on Switch tho when I'm playing.

Planetside is a pretty damn good game. At least it was. Not sure how populated it is anymore. But the vastness of the maps makes Battlefield's look about the size of my cats' litter box.

And Warframe is always good, no matter what system you're playing it on

PlanetSide was the best free game ever if you ask me. At least if you enjoy a fps. I sank sooooo many hours into it. Basically by myself too which I didn't think was possible since I enjoy the social aspect of games so much. Not sure what free ones are good now. I did do bulletstorm recently and have had some fun.

I have to go with Fishing Planet....once you can sort out the menus, that game is a lot of fun. My kid and I just spam each others inbox with our biggest catches of the day.

Rocket League when it came out it was a free title at launch.

I downloaded HELLDIVERS for free and I love that game. Top down shooter easy to jump in and play and put down if you have to . Playable solo or with up to 4 people co-op. Watch out for FRIENDLY FIRE though lol. You have a ton of weapons and strategems to choose from including tanks, mines, missiles, bombs, healing rays, etc., etc.

the only one i've played any substantial amount of is xcom 2. i love that type of strategy game. if anybody grabbed it look me up. we can play some mp matches.

Warframe, even though it's F2P, so not exactly "free".

3rd person space magic shoot and loot.

Pros: AAA quality, content added regularly, almost everything non-cosmetic is obtainable by grinding, great community, responsive developers.
Cons: The new player experience is not great. New players are a long, long way behind the meta.
YMMV:

• Grind - this game is grindier than a truck full of angle grinders.

• DE's business model is pay-to-skip and buy cosmetics. But....

• Premium currency is earnable from trading in-game. But to make that's super grindy on end game content .

• PvP sucks
