I have been looking for a group to join for a very long time but I think I made the right choice by choosing here! I have been gaming since before the Atari 2600, on a machine called the Fairchild. I’m older then dirt, but still love a good game. I play exclusively on Xbox One (X). I mostly into BO 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2 right now but will play just about anything. Not sure what 3lse to say at this point except that I can’t want to shoot some fools with you all in a game or two.

Hello to all...

The name's Jay, and I'm 39 years old, work full-time, am a full-time stepfather/husband, and don't get to game anywhere near as much as I'd like to. Pretty sure I'm not alone on that last point. I was a bit of a 'late-bloomer' when it comes to gaming. As a kid, we did get a Nintendo a year or two after it came out but, my parents used it more than I did. I was just never too interested in video games. It wasn't until years later that I finally got hooked. The first game that hooked me on gaming was either Dino Crisis or Resident Evil (can't remember which, I loved both). Despite that, I only played at friends' houses. The first system I ever owned was a PS2, and I didn't buy that until 2002 or 2003. So yeah, I didn't officially become a gamer until I was in my early 20s. Still, I only consider myself a casual gamer, and I go through phases. There are times where I may not get an opportunity to play for days or weeks at a time. And then there are times where I might be playing every day.

I used to play online quite a bit but I got really fed up with all of the cheaters, immaturity, and button-mashers. The game that really ruined the online experience for me was Fight Night Round 4. In fact, Fight Night was the last game I ever played online, and I quit playing probably more than a decade ago - until Fallout 76. Upon hearing about this game, I was intrigued, yet also skeptical that I would enjoy it but, I've been a HUGE Fallout fan since FO3...so I decided to pony up and pre-order for the access to the Beta. I got to put about 20 hours into the Beta, and while I have some complaints, I had fun overall, and anticipate putting a lot of time into it.

Now, my guess is that I will still play the game as a lone wanderer for the most part but, I realize (from what I've read and what I experienced in-game) that there will be a lot of benefits to teaming up with others...which, at first, I dreaded the thought of, based on my previous online gaming experience. I went looking for online teams/clans, and came across a site that listed a bunch of online clans. After reading the description to this group, I felt instantly relieved. An online group that seemed to cater to a mature crowd!! Exactly what I wanted.

At this time, I will be online only for FO76. No interest in any other online games. My online time will be sporadic - there's no rhyme or reason for when I'm playing. Typically, however, the following times are when you're most likely to find me...

Monday through Friday: 1pm-5pm Pacific Time (4pm-8pm Eastern)
Saturday's: You may find me online off and on throughout the day if I don't have grocery shopping/errands
Sunday's: Rare (during football season); Similar to Saturday's when there's no football
