My gaming name is Straktos, has ever been since being 9 years old playing Runescape in 2003, the invention behind the name, Stratos-phere with a K not much I know but hey it stuck and here I am.

In the weird weird real world I am a 27 year old who works full time and I am a wait for it ...*drum roll* .... Banker... *BOO!* yes yes I know sorry but hey I work in the nice side of it in financial support so I get to help people rather then the other way around so please forgive me :')

Besides that i'm still living my youth as much as I can, haven't settled down but no plans to as the flexibility keeps my options open both in life and Career.

In my spare time I enjoy gaming (kinda why i was attracted to here) and socialising with familly, friends and the occasional football match at my Local small town club.

I normally go by oldman, but seeing as i may not be sooo old round these here hill... you can just call me Ches, or Chester, or whatever your heart desires at that point. I am a 40 year young man whom is still living the gaming world and shall never give it up. I do stream on twitch even though that took some adjusting too especially during these times. Anways.. I reside north of the border and am currently in lockdown which leaves the only choice for sanity to be on the screen in front. I play a multitude of games, more so in the simulation areas like trucking, driving, flying.. that sort of thing. I am apart of a VA community as well for Delta.. and hey, this clan of individuals seemed like an appropriate place to start meeting some more like-minded and age similar people in the gaming world. Most part i am looking for people to play Rocket league, Apex, COD Warzone, GTA Online, or FiveM RP, etc.. who knows what . I am Maerlande and ended up on early retirement due to disability. I game a lot but mostly hardcore strategy however my kids (one grown and one teen) got me playing some shooters with them mainly Destiny so far. I've been gaming since Avalon Hill and the blue box DnD and got a computer in the mid 80s. You can find me all over the net as Maerlande which is a fun story. My first MMO was Diablo 2 and I needed a nickname so pulled a book from the shelf and stuck with the Title as my online name ever since.

The isolation and lockdown has been a challenge as I live alone and my primary social life is my kids, mom and online. I have a tiny pod.
