My third GS introduction!

My first intro was back in 2011. Some of the fine folks who replied to that post remain my friends to this day. Folks like Slammer, Nick, Mike, Rig, Fed, Leif, and Gopp. Names to me that will always remain synonymous with Gunslinger Gaming, even though many of them don't post as much anymore.
I think it's awesome that 7 years later I can still hop on a game with these people (even though it's been a while since I played with alot of em) and still feel that warm fuzzy feeling I first had when I joined Gopp on mic in Brink on PS3 all those years ago. It's a great feeling. One that surpasses many other online experiences the way going to the pub after work and leaving your troubles at the door feels. These aren't just random folks on the other end of the Wifi; these are friends, people you can talk to about anything, no matter how nerdy, and not feel like a complete idiot!
I've played alot of games since that first intro. Played on alot of different platforms with alot of different people, and I can honestly say that if I could do it all again, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Gaming has become such a huge part of my life. I've learned that I love MP games and that playing with friends can make even the crappiest match still a fun and memorable one. I've learned, thanks to TopCat, that single player games can also be a great experience and that there's tons of replay value in them. I've learned, after playing Diablo 3 and Path of Exile, that top down ARPG games are my new favorite genre. I've learned all these things thanks to GS!
So in closing, let me just say that, in seven more years, Murph, if you decide to refresh the website again, I'll be more than happy to write a thousand more introduction posts
