I have to say that I really am enjoying the new Smash game.

It looks and plays fantastically. All the fighters seem very well balanced, and I am really enjoying the new spirits system. It adds a cool new layer to the whole experience.

Now I know I was a bit poo-poo originally on how many fighters were going to be on the roster. But it really is cool to keep trying to unlock to characters to play with.

What is everybody else's impressions thus far? Perhaps we should look at setting up a Smash tournament sometime in the near future??

It's looking good so far! I still have ways to go with unlocking characters via Classic Mode and Challenger's Approach, but haven't given the chance to actually play Adventure mode's World Of Light.

I'm really enjoying it as well. Not really played a smash game since N64.

I am looking forward to playing Christmas morning after unwrapping my switch. But everything I have seen so far looks great, and coworkers are driving me nuts with new stories everyday. I haven't played smash since Melee!

I love it! The online works SO MUCH better for me than Smash 4 (which was unplayable, really a drag), and the World of Light mode is great for someone like me who likes to just play single player most of the time.

Honestly, I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would. I still need to check out the story mode and have mostly been playing Classic mode.

...however, I started playing Octopath Traveler and it's taken over my life.

I played the demo of that and thought it was alright. I put it on my wishlist, but haven't gotten around to purchasing it yet.

I've heard the interaction between characters is a bit bland tho, for a game designed to have overlapping stories?
