I have a switch on it's way

So, I'm not much of a console gamer, especially not with Nintendo.
Anyways, I finally decided to order a switch, I need some game recommendations, the only ones I really know of is Zelda which is already here and then getting ready for Pokemon. Anyways, let me know of some games to play! Are there free ones on the store? What am I to expect? let me know!

Zelda is all you need my friend
Seriously though there are a lot of good games on switch. Mario party is fun with family and friends locally. Lots of people here play Mario kart. Honestly trying to remember what else is exclusive off the top of my head. There is something for everyone on switch.
But with the PETS movement (port everything to switch) the best use of the switch is playing games portably. Currently on wasteland 2 myself- just finished Valkyria chronicles 4- diablo is coming - animal crossing and fire emblem coming.

Zelda was the number 1 reason I even thought about getting the Switch. I've heard a lot of good things about Mario Party, but it's really just going to be me playing, my wife isn't into video games much. I've been wanting to check out wasteland, I know it's on PC. But maybe it'll give me the option to try it out on the switch when it finally gets here. I'm super excited for Diablo to be coming to switch that's for sure.

Have her play mario party with you, it's great for those not much into games. My wife and child play with me.

Stardew Valley is amazing on the Switch, and just in general.
There are quite a few of us on here that play Mario Kart also.

Ah yes Stardew- The new Harvest Moon. If you have not played on PC (with the mods) or even if you have give it a go on switch. All games are better on the go
.
So cities skylines falls in that line. Civ 6 is coming to the switch . I will update if I remember anymore. What kind of games are you into?

Oh man! I've been playing stardew for quite awhile now on PC! I completely forgot it was on console. I'll definitely have to go and pick that up. I'm going to have to get the new Harvest moon, that's going to bring back so many memories of when I was a kid!

I guess from what everyone here is sayign the Mario series is a definitely worth getting. I don't think I'll be able to play Shooters on a console, I've been spoiled by my keyboard and mouse lol. Sounds like they have a bunch of great games out on switch. Should've given it a chance a long time ago.
Anyways, my switch will be here today, I guess I'll be visiting their online store tonight and buying some games lol

I am really thinking about picking one up. My Girlfriend is a Mario fan so guess Ill have to get one for her. She has been asking for 5 years for me to pick up something Nitendo related to play Mario but we have put it off. Think its that time.
