Nintendo published its final Super Smash Bros Ultimate Nintendo Direct prior to the game's release, and there is a lot to chew on. Take a look for yourself:

While I thought the final two fighters were not nearly as interesting as the company's prior reveals, there is a lot I like about the other features the game will have. I am 80% sure I am getting this game (probably in physical form) thanks to the adventure mode and online arena mode. Fighting games are not my usual breed of games, but there is just so much content here, it feels like, regardless of my preferred gaming genres, I would be a fool to pass up on so much gameplay options.

Honestly, there are too many fighters...

For me that’s a good thing. Will be nice to know you’re not going up against the same OP characters time and time again with that much choice.

You make a valid point. And perhaps that was the developers biggest fear. But honestly, 74 characters was it? That's crazy! Maybe I am a tad salty because I am a fan of Waluigi and instead of him, we got a freakin' pot plant...

With that being said, Piranha Plant actually looks like a great character to use. I should just be happy there is a new Smash out in a month or so's time huh!

Friendly heads up to those that plan on purchasing. If you have your game cube controller adapter from Wii you can use it on your switch. You dont have to buy the adapter that's "made for the switch" it's the same one just rebranded.
