I'm hoping by the holiday season I can pick up a 1070ti or a 1080 so we'll see. I'm also gonna be upgrading my CPU to a Ryzen 7 2700x when the time is right. Then I'll upgrade my wifes poor old AM3+ system with my Ryzen 5 CPU lol.

Yeah, GPU pricing is all over the place at the moment on the low side . There is a EVGA 1070ti for $429.99 on Amazon and Newegg I'm keeping my eye on for the time being. The 1080s are around $450, but they're mostly MSI or Gigabyte... I want EVGA lol. Hopefully they'll come down in price during black Friday or x-mas.

Thanks to the 2070 launch. Prices have dropped again, but of course. Most people are buying the 10 series still over the new 20 series. One week the prices are low and the next they go up a couple hundred... Least on the 1080 and 1080ti . Maybe when Nvidia re-releases the GTX 1060 with the GDDR5X memory. Pricing will go down again.....maybe :S.
