gs world building server (ark/conan exiles)

was curious how big of a presence we have on these 2 games. and if we have any private servers going for the clan? i think getting a community of slingers in a server might be pretty cool. ive hosted ark servers myself in the past but im not sure i have the available spare computing power to do so now.

any thoughts?

That would be sick! I would be interested in the Ark server, but I have both games. Haven't touched either one in a long ass time.

It's been done, I was on a server with a few clan members and had a lot of fun. My wife and son got in on it too, and we even had to split tribes due to tame limits, it was hosted on a spare XB1, but I think you can host from a PC now and allow cross play. The PC should be more stable, if anyone has a notion.

Some of the recent changes make me reluctant to spend much time in the game. Too many knock off your mount and you die without a chance things last time I played.

We do have a server for Ark.
Just changed to the Extinction map today.
It's Gunslinger only.
We are on xbox and have crossplay enabled (for the win10 version not steam).
No tame limit!

Yeah i wish the had made the steam version crossplay as well, or at least given you a copy on the windows 10 store with the steam copy
I own the base game on steam as well. But never could get into the the game. If there was more gunplay in the game i think i could get behind it, but my limited time with the game hasn't peaked my intrest so far. But if you guys do ever get a server i might pop in and see what it's about

ill wait and see if there is more interest. no point in getting the equipment together if there isnt going to be anyone populated in the server

well you could always get it put together and run an arma 3 server on it instead run wasteland or exile, they both have base building but alas i never had more than 10 people on one of my servers back in the day, but we always had a blast

I have a partnership with Survival servers and logic servers so if there is a server based game you all want to play i can set it and it would cost nothing. The only condition both of them have is that server be active. They dont want one of the machine sitting idle when they could sell the space to someone. Let me know if there is a game you all want to play server set up is pretty quick.

im down to play either of those games they are both quite fun if you have people to play with. i havent played either in a long time but would def get back into it if we had a server to play on.
