So the MCC was announced for PC.

This is absolutely epic news. Halo is my favourite gaming franchise of all time, which is funny to say because when it came down to crunch time, I went with a PS4 over the XB1. Mainly because the last iteration of Halo on the 360 was terrible I thought (well, terrible for a Halo game anyways.) and the fact the PS4 looked to be the better console. But I digress.

Halo: Reach is in my top 5 games of all time, so to say I am pumped for it to come to PC is an understatement. The strangest thing I am finding with MCC coming to PC is the fact that it will be on Steam. I find this super odd considering Microsoft has it's own games store.

Anyways, who else is pumped to finally get the MCC on PC?

It will also be on sale on the windows 10 store. I plan on getting it, just not sure where I'm going to buy it at just yet. I'm leaning towards the windows 10 store personally as if they do implement crossplay I'm almost positive that the windows 10 store version will be cross play with the Xbox version. And hopefully it's crossplay between steam and windows 10 from day one. I would say in order for that to work tho, they would have to force the steam version to use Xbox to sign into the game.

There will be cross play between PC platforms, so I will grab it on Steam, as that is where all my PC friends are. I am not sure if they will do cross play between Win 10 store and Xbox. Obviously PC players will have a massive advantage by using M/K over controller.

i'm sure if they do crossplay it will campaign/ specs only or they will have controller only lobbies for MP. But my guess is a combo of both. as i'm really only intrested in the story and /spec ops mode. Not a PvP guy. And i only want crossplay so i can play the campaign/specs ops with my kids.

Co-op is 100% where this game is at for me. While I played a whole bunch of MP for Halo 3, Reach and the like nowadays, will truly just to play co-op with friends and GS clan members

yeah with crossplay seeming to be less and less likey (at least anytime soon) odds are when they release halo into the MCC i will have to finally pick up the MCC on steam

For those of you that didn't know, they ninja dropped halo 1 yesterday on PC

It was a pretty quiet release, I have to admit.

I think the only game that had a quieter release on PC was gears of war ultimate edition. People didn't even know it was out even a week after it was released
