Over where I live, I have Vintage Stock, Gamers HQ, and GameCentral. There used to be a Game World, but it's long gone...sadly.

Goldeneye 007 for Nintendo 64 was definitely the go-to FPS game for consoles. I recall memories about my older brother having his friends over to play that game, but he didn't want me in his room.
