Re: M1922 MG for Support

Too often I end up joining a game and of course you come in 99% of the time on the losing side. Maybe just me and questionable skills but I find it really hard at that point to get going with a MMG as I enter with no feel for what is going on in the game yet. By that time the "squad" which could wel...

Re: M1922 MG for Support

Yeah - it's a bit of a desperation move at times. As long as you are aware when you are in close quarters and it is likely to be needed and somehow stop the aim-down-sights reflex it gets easier. If I think about it - I probably look like I start in someone's general direction then kind of spiral ar...

Re: Combined Arms - is it that bad?

The one thing that strikes me about Combined Arms - maybe people can focus their assignment work in there rather than doing it in PVP so everyone can focus on playing the objectives. Some assignments can't be done in CA but an awful lot of 'em can.

Re: Combined Arms - is it that bad?

Maybe not that bad for someone picking up the game for the first time. For a solo player with any experience it doesn't offer all that much other than an opportunity to farm Combined Arms to get through assignments. Need 20 headshot kills while crouched or prone or standing on your head with a parti...

Re: M1922 MG for Support

Really not that different from the MG42. And once you get the hang of using either one in hip fire they are more versatile.

M1922 MG for Support

The new M1922 MG is a beast. I like it a little more than the MG42 though not sure why. Need to go back and look at how I have it spec'd vs the MG42. Could be the flash suppression on the MG42 forces you down the spec side that restricts the rounds to 50 where you get 150 by default on the M1922 so ...

New to GS - BFV player on XBox

New to the GS community. BFV player on XBox and looking forward to seeing what life is like when I am not just a solo joining random servers and squads. And really appreciate the idea of a community of older, mature players accepting casuals like myself.

Re: Assault class

Gewehr 43 + 3X scope for maps with mid to long range engagements (Hamada for instance). M1907F + Nydar optic for close quarters and can stretch out to near mid-range if necessary (Devastation). Anti-tank gear on maps with opposing armor otherwise Piat plus sticky dynamite to toss through doors / ove...

Re: What Are you Currently Watching?

Making our way through Breaking Bad (third time for me). I saw it when it originally aired and just got my wife to finally watch it. She now sees the light. Best show ever. Planning to go back and watch The Wire again soon. At one point that was my "best show ever" but I don't think it was as consis...

Re: BFV Squads

New here. Older, casual XBox player - BF4, BFH, BF1 and now BFV. To date I've always been a solo so generally my K/D stinks (currently a little underwater in BFV). Generally find myself joining servers on the losing side plus I figure as a solo I am expendable and take on some grunt tasks or risky p...
