Voted Call of Duty MW2 because it is sweet! Also because I really didnt play too many games other then that fable II and COD4

I voted for Batman. Don't know how many of you tried it or not but it's a great game. COD was awesome and a close second, the single player story mode blew me away.

Definetly has to be Assassin's Creed II, one of the best, if not downright THE best game i got on release in 2008

If I could vote ten times, I'd cast all ten votes for Assassin's Creed II. I can spend hours with just the parkour/free running and never touch a mission. I've been to some of the cities depicted, and I've compared the game to actual photographs, and the architecture is simply the most realistic and lovingly detailed I've ever seen in a game.

And it's gorgeous. Like Oblivion, I just (virtually) walk around with my mouth open saying out loud "Oh my God! Will you look at THAT!" But this amazes me even more because it has to be based with painstaking accuracy on real places. The gameplay feels so real that when I climb to a viewpoint, I get a little vertigo.

Vote - Street Fighter IV!

Why? - Because I played it the most out of all of those games AND I have NEVER felt so downright welcomed, appreciated and loved by a video game as I did the very first time that horrible "Indestructable" intro song played. I felt like I had come home. Plus, it's got pedigree. Street Fighter as a franchise has been going strong for 20+ years, and I must confess to huge fanboy-ness, but since I was 5 and I got my SNES, Street Fighter has been my absolute crutch. Every time I get bored of what I'm playing or really pissed off at the world I go play an SF game and beat down Blanka, which is surprisingly relaxing. If you think about it, Street Fighter is just a really advanced version of pong, or a game of limb-based chess. Something so simple yet with so many possible outcomes and situations. Always under-rated in game of the year polls too.

So yea. SF IV.
