It is Halloween (depending on when you read this, of course)! I am not someone with a library full of nothing but horror films, but I sure like to watch great examples of that genre around this time of the year.
How about you? What are you favorite horror films?
Personally, I am bit of a black-and-white horror film nut, so some of my favorites of all time are Night of the Living Dead, The Brain That Wouldn't Die, and the flawless masterpiece that is Hitchcock's Psycho.
Not that all my favorites are in black and white. The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre may be one of the scariest films I have seen, and I have a great appreciation of more recent efforts such as the first Blair Witch Project, The Descent, and Rob Zombie's House of 1,000 Corpses.

Of the television fair, such macabre productions like the first run of the Twilight Zone and Outer Limits are still watched late at night on local channels. I was also a huge fan (read: nerd) of the X-Files.
That said, one of the creepest things to ever be shown on television on a weekly basis was the introduction of Unsolved Mysteries:
Your Turn!
