Fargo (season 2)

Postby coolhandlewke » Fri Jan 06, 2017 2:28 pm

if you're looking for something new to watch this is one of the best shows i've seen in years. it is a cohen brother production, and i haven't seen anything i didn't like from those guys. each fargo season is stand alone, so you don't need to have seen season 1, or the movie, to follow along.
unfortunately its popularity, and award hauls, have kept it off netflix and amazon so far. hulu had it, but i'm not sure if they still do. i am watching it on netflix disk, as well as on youtube. 12 episodes, give it a watch if you are looking for something new to get hooked on.

it was mind blowing at the end of season 2, realizing that our hero state trooper was the diner owner in season 1 (and little molly the hero cop of season 1). i felt bad for peggy. they talk about her being tried federally, but what is she really facing? vehicular manslaughter, hit and run, and a bunch of escaping? throw in self defense with a bathroom fixture and alot of hilarious work with kitchen utensils. i can't wait for season 3. ewan mcgregor is in the lead role.
