R.I.P. Wes Craven

Not many details but the man of our nightmares has died of brain cancer. The horror community has lost a great mind. Good thoughts go to his family

Oh, wow. You literally just broke the news to me. I love horror, and, particularly early in his career, his influence on the genre was profound.

Oh my god, I just heard about this now. That's surreal to say the least. Amazing imagination. The scene where Tina Gray is dragged up the wall and across the ceiling while Freddy slashes her open is quite possibly the greatest scene in horror history. I will miss him, no doubt about it!

For a horror buff as I, that is some sad news. To be honest most of his work didnt really speak to me personally, but no one can deny his influence to the genre, legend, r.i.p.
