Top Gun ...there's no way they can improve upon the volleyball game or it's time placement in the original :P

E.T. How does one recreate this look and be taken as anything more than a cintus supremus or zero charisma? Image

and try making one of these this day and age without spending months searching yard sales

Karate Kid... but too late

and in a potential spin off thread of what 80s movies SHOULD be remade/sequel-ed...

I so wish I had a like button for all the comments.

The Elm Street was not as good as the original. :skull:
I know they wanted to do Top Gun 2 for ever, but Mav would be retired by now.

Ghostbusters. I have a horrible feeling they will.

oh, Footloose, damn. Next will be Flashdance

Howard the Duck shouldn't be remade. In fact, I am not quite sure it should have been made in the first place...*

I like remakes. No they rarely ever even come close to the originals. Most because they suck but many because we have these movies built up in our heads as so great they can never be touched.

Im actually excited for the new Ghostbusters. Itll probably suck but Im willing to give it a chance. Its an odd premise but if they went male cast it would be even harder to recap anything about the original.
