The Forgotten Franchises

Do you recall all the wasted hours on the games and consoles of the past? Everything from the first Playstation and the Nintendo 64 to the NES and the Dreamcast is fair "game" here.

Please forgive the lame pun.

One more vote for Battletoads.

But how about Shadax the Wizard from two total classics: Solstice for the NES and Equinox for the SNES. (Solstice may be one of my all time favorite games.)

Tell me about it. Like you, I spent literally years trying to get past that speedbike section. I eventually succeeded and I haven't even tried it again since.

My pick isn't exactly forgotten, but certainly overlooked. Pirates! on NES (and other things) remains possibly my favourite game to this day. The original Xbox remake was ok but not up to the same standard.
No one ever reviews Xbox Live indie games. Now I do: http://indieocean.wordpress.com/
