GTAV PS4 by RusSKill on Wed Mar 23, 2016 11:26 am
Hi 'Slingers, at the moment, I'm "just for fun" on GTAV PS4 (trying to make some cash and do the Heists), mainly with TheStocky1, as he games the same kind of times as myself. Feel free to join me if I'm online. I'm not that good, but I have a laugh playing! (and drinking)

I'm also trying DOTA2 on the PC, because I love the idea of esports and prizes!

Also Arma 3 PC, if I can get it to work smoothly online and figure out the Lobby!

I also enjoy Blacklight Retribution (Freemium) and Pinball Arcade - Monthly Tournaments.

Hit me up if you ever want a not that good english pisshead to have a laugh with!!

Russkill :D :D

Gaming Habits by Scorp_Wild on Tue Mar 15, 2016 3:56 pm
All throughout my youth, into high school and even now as an adult, I have played hockey for no less than half my life. The position I play is goalie. If any of you are familiar with hockey and specifically the position of goalie, you might have a bit of an understanding of the tendencies and rituals that accompany the individuals that play this position. I'm by no means superstitious, but I do have habits and a routine when it comes to preparing before a game, also things I do during a game to keep my focus. A similar set of habits have fallen into place for me when it comes to video games. For lack of a better term, let's call them "Gaming Habits".

For many of us, where we play games doesn't change. Some of you may just have a console sitting in your living room with you tv. Others may have a more dedicated den or office area. I have, what I have recently and affectionately called, The Plat Cave, which is ironic since I have yet to collect a Platinum trophy. This...

Gaming On A Budget by Scorp_Wild on Mon Mar 07, 2016 3:47 pm
Playing video games has been a hobby of mine for nearly twenty years now. Over the years, the price of games have gone up and programs like PlayStation's "Greatest Hits" titles have gone away. For those that don't remember the Greatest Hits library, I believe these were titles that were discounted after the particular game sold over one million copies. The growing trend of digital purchases has thrown another wrinkle into the mix as well. Being an almost thirty year old, married adult with a mortgage amongst other regular bills, has made purchasing every title I want on day one at $60 a pop (for AAA titles at least) a little too expensive these days.

Typically, I'm not one to spend over $40 on a game if I can help it. Because of this, I have run into a dilemma. Games such as Destiny, which I will admit I pre-ordered and got the season pass at a total price of $90, and upcoming titles like The Division are games that feel like to fully enjoy them you need to pick them...

PSN Trophies by Scorp_Wild on Sun Feb 28, 2016 8:02 am
I was recently listening to PS I Love You XOXO, which is the http://www.kindafunny.com PlayStation podcast. A listener question prompted the discussion of trophies and their importance within the PSN ecosystem. More specifically, the importance of "platinuming" or otherwise one hundred percent completion of a game's trophy list. The guys at Kinda Funny weighed in on the subject and I would like to do the same.

Trophies are always a topic of conversation. The way I see it there are three types of PlayStation gamers when it comes to trophies. First, you have the hardcore trophy hunters who seek out as many trophies, and more specifically Platinum trophies as they can get their hands on. Next, you have the gamers who don't care about trophies at all and seldom, if ever, even bother to look at a game's trophy list and are playing a game on the pure enjoyment of the game. Then you have the gamers in between. The ones who actively seek...

Holy Cow! by NecroAether on Mon Feb 22, 2016 8:30 pm
I logged out of the discord app yesterday to cool down and then log in today only to have my hard drive crash having to buy a new hard drive and reinstall windows 10 AND discord. Now my Steam, Uplay, and Origin accounts are freaking messed up. So If you get a friends request from me this is why. All my friends are gone and have no idea why. SUPER PISSED!
